“Please, may I go to Disney Cruise?” I begged. You might wonder who I am, so I’m just going to say I’m Malia and I love traveling. “Let’s see…” my mom said when she was flipping through my tests. “You’ve done so well on your test in the past months! I’m so amazed! And happy! You can now go to Disney Cruise!” My mom exclaimed. I was so excited that I jumped, well kind of jumped in my seat!
On the next day, my whole family went to the cruise, my mom said, “It’s 10 nights, which means… 11 days (about 1 and a half weeks).” So, we went into Disney Cruise. Some guests introduced us by saying “welcome the Perry family” and went to check in. By the way, my last name is Perry. We got room 345.
There was this guy who said that there was a station on the 6th floor which was origami. We had to tear a piece of paper into two halves but I could not tear it right and messed up my own paper. Then there was a nice lady who came along and gave me the other half of the paper. The teacher then instructed us on how to make a turtle. When it was finished, I was so proud of myself and so grateful that the nice lady handed me the other half of her paper.
Suddenly, RING! RING! RING! My phone rang. It was my dad. He said that they’re going up to the 7th floor to go to our room. I zoomed back to the lobby and joined them. We went up to our room.
When we got there, after searching for like 31 minutes 48 seconds (I counted), we finally found it. I ran in to change out of my icky, sweaty, clothes and into a simple dress.
When we were done, Mum said, “You know, they are giving a tour upstairs and because this is our first time on the ship, we should go join them.”
“Nice idea!” Dad and I said in unison.
During the tour, I might a kid named Lily and we became fast friends. We passed by the upstairs swimming pool and saw that they were playing a movie called Raya and the Last Dragon. I really wanted to go into the pool, but I was not wearing my bathing suit.
“Wanna go watch it after the tour is done?” I asked Lily.
“You bet I do!” She replied
After the tour, we changed and I cried, “Race you there!” to Lily.
We were running and suddenly, I slipped. Thank goodness I did not hit my head and stay in a coma, but I did fall head first into the water and I accidentally swallowed some of the water. Lily pulled me out of the water, but I couldn’t move. I felt very sick.
I heard her scream, “Help! Malia is really sick!”
When my dad arrived, he saw me lying on the ground. He was worried. He brought me back into the room and lay me on the bed.
Mum asked, “What happened to her?”
“I don’t know.” Dad replied.
Lily, who had entered the room said, “Basically, she slipped and fell into the pool and I think she accidentally swallowed some of the pool water.”
Dad groaned and said, “Bruh. The pool water contains chlorine and it’s bad for you if you drank it.”
He then started digging through the suitcase until he found some type of white powder.
He put some of the white poweder into a glass of water, stirred it up, and gave it to me. I gave it a little sip, it tasted HORRIBLE! But my dad was staring at me so hard that I could felt that his eyeballs were about to pop out. There was no way I could go away without drinking it. So, I gulped the whole thing down.
After that, I felt much better and Lily and I walked slowly to the pool and climbed down the ladder and into the pool. Good thing it was just starting my favorite movie Moana. Lily and I just watched it and it was awesome.
Before we knew it, one hour has passed and it was time for the enormous dinner party. I have wanted to go to that party for years from now! I could see that my parents were also excited to go. I waved goodbye to Lily and took a long bath. I dressed into a long dress and my parents were wearing something fancy too.
Then, we went into the room which was supposed to be where the dinner party was supposed to be hosted. We were surprised to see that the whole room was decorated in Rapunzel-type decorations and that Rapunzel was standing on stage singing. Maybe it was normal? I never been to a Disney Cruise so I wouldn’t know. We ate and danced the night away.
